Schezwan Rice an Indo Chinese version of Rice which roots completely from the Indian streets style cuisine. Though the original recipe of the same originates from Sichuan and made with heavily spiced with Sichuan Pepper corns with Vegetable / Meat in it.

In both Indian & original Sichuan versions, Red Chili plays a key role along with White Vinegar (originally Rice Wine Vinegar is used,) Choice of Vegetables, Soya Sauce, Staranise, Lots of Garlic, Ginger & Green Onions for an extra hint of bursting flavors & aroma.

Schezwan Fried rice served with gravy Manchurian.
Manchurian balls are made of fresh vegetables, ginger garlic chilli past, soy sauce and little flour for binding purpose.
The secret to make it soft and flavorful, I added a teaspoon of butter.
While gravy ingredients are: chopped onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, green chilli and soy sauce.Finishing touch with a spoonful of butter.
This gravy Manchurian is hot and spicy with deep chilli-garlic flavour , a perfect food in this cold rainy day.
